服務社會65年之久，播道兒童之家照顧過的孩子超過1,300名。難得ECH院友周年重聚，移居加拿大多年的第一代院友大哥哥段一勤，專程回院與院友及孩子分享「愛的承傳」，話說當年。院友重返家舍，懷緬昔日生活的點滴，更參觀增設的青年家舍。青年宿生現身說法，讓大家更立體地了解新一代青年人的挑戰。
一勤哥更鼓勵院友以月捐方法支持「第二人生助跑計劃」，以愛還愛，分享更拍攝成短片，結連不同地域的ECH院友。
「一勤哥哥傳家愛」播道兒童之家第一代院友為「第二人生助跑」呼籲院友關愛，幫助無家青年走出困局，月捐支持 [第二人生助跑計劃] ，有助他們「安居．樂業．自立．合群」。
Evangel Children’s Home, Shining Life Limited, and Eternal Music Ministry will jointly host the “Home Coming” Charity Concert on September 19, 2026, working together to build a better future through music. The concert, themed “Love is eternal．Lighting the Journey Home,” will use music to comfort hearts and support the growth and mental health of disadvantaged children and teenagers. Evangel Children’s Home’s Day Care Service will conclude in June 2027, as the organization is to focus on serving more residential home care children and youth, addressing the diverse needs and development of them.
Guided by our founding aspiration, “Let the little children come to me,” Evangel Children’s Home (ECH) is deeply grateful for “Love • Wholeness • Completeness.” To commemorate our 70th anniversary, we have created an animated story featuring the little sheep, the shepherd, and the Tree of Life.
Evangel Children’s Home 70th Anniversary Thanksgiving Worship Service was held on July 4th at E.F.C.C. – Kong Fook Church. Nearly 400 people gathered to witness the abundance of the Lord’s grace. Church partners and supporters, along with all the children, alumni and staff joined together to praise the Lord. The messages and testimonies shared were deeply moving. Following the worship, a new logo launch ceremony was held, unveiling the brand-new logo icons for Evangel Children’s Home as we step into a new chapter together.
