Evangel Children’s Home (ECH) is affiliated to the Evangel Free Church of China (E.F.C.C.) and was established in 1956. The founder is Ms. Ruth Sundquist, an American missionary from the US Evangelical Free Church. ECH has been committed to supporting the healthy growth of orphans, children and youth from broken families or families with difficult background.

ECH main building was built in 1963. Leaky ceilings and cracked walls are common occurrences, and the current Co-Living Environment is so crowded and unfit for younger children and teens. The ECH Main Building Improvement Project build a dream home for children to provide a safe and therapeutic home, nurturing them for the future.
