10 Years – from Project 2Rs to 3R
Looking back at the past 10 years, this Project has undergone a metamorphosis from 2Rs to 3R (Note 1).
As a pioneer project of wholistic care for children and youth in residential homes, the Committee Board Members and Superintendents of three agencies including Evangel Children’s Home, Precious Blood Children’s Village and Sisters of the Good Shepherd formulated proposals and procedures, looked for cooperation partners and funders to help support this project. Their vision to extend such all-rounded care to the 4,000 admitted residential children in Hong Kong still exist.

On the occasion of ECH’s 70th anniversary, she returned ECH with her newly ordained daughter to visit her ‘younger brothers and sisters.’ Through their artistic creations, they also lend a helping hand to raise funds for the home’s improvement projects, continuing the legacy of love and care.
