Evangel Children’s Home (hereinafter referred to as “ECH”) is committed to protecting your privacy. - Personal data should be collected by lawful and fair means, and can only be used for lawful purposes directly related to ECH’s services, activities, fundraising and recruitment, including donations processing, sending receipts and information, invitation and notice of activities, fundraising, recruitment, service application, collecting opinion, statistical analysis and communication purposes.
- The personal data collected based on the purposes of collection, should be necessary, adequate but not excessive in relation to its purposes. It includes basic personal information for verification of identity, contact information, message, bank/credit card information provided by the donor, donation-related information and information required to assess for the service application.
- ECH will never share or sell your data to a third party for any marketing or direct selling purposes. Personal data, which have the need for operational use and by law required to be transferred to the service agents, banks, statutory organizations, government or regulatory agency, or other third parties being designated processors, will be encrypted for transmission, and also to be used after non-disclosure agreement is obtained with the processors.

- Those personal data provided to ECH is on a voluntary basis only. Please provide complete and correct information. Those data submitted which is neither deficient nor incorrect, ECH may not be able to process the application and provide related services.

- The one who provide information, is entitled to access and update his/her personal data, to cease from receiving newsletter and latest news, please make a written request to ECH (via e-mail: info@ech.org.hk; by fax: 2322 4908 or by post: 120 Shatin Pass Road, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon). Designated staff from the Resource Development and Communications Department of our organization may require you to verify your identity to protect the security of your personal information. However, for any access and correction of personal data, under certain circumstances, data users may refuse to comply with the request in accordance with the Ordinance and relevant exemptions.
