為慶祝啟動播道兒童之家邁向70周年，數百位院友回家重聚，多位院友及舊同工專程從海外回港聚舊，場面溫情。院友攜親友走訪他們滿載兒時回憶的家舍，懷緬昔日生活的點滴，更有攜他們的孩子回來認識「爸爸媽媽的家」；參觀現時的家舍環境，走進現時住宿孩子的家，喜見一代一代的孩子在充滿愛的地方成長。
進入歷史性時刻，由日間院護服務孩子操作小寶機械人，結連不同年代的ECH院友，高呼主題「播道兒童之家70周年 愛．圓．全」，航拍機的鏡頭下大家興高采烈地揮手迎向新里程。
10 Years – from Project 2Rs to 3R
Looking back at the past 10 years, this Project has undergone a metamorphosis from 2Rs to 3R (Note 1).
As a pioneer project of wholistic care for children and youth in residential homes, the Committee Board Members and Superintendents of three agencies including Evangel Children’s Home, Precious Blood Children’s Village and Sisters of the Good Shepherd formulated proposals and procedures, looked for cooperation partners and funders to help support this project. Their vision to extend such all-rounded care to the 4,000 admitted residential children in Hong Kong still exist.
