Evangel Children\u2019s Home will organize an “Individual Volunteer Briefing Session 2” of this fiscal year on Oct 26, 2024 (Saturday). This is for those who are interested in becoming volunteers to learn more about the mission and services of the organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We welcome mature individuals aged 18 or above, support the mission of our organization, to join us as an individual volunteer with love and care. This is not for material rewards but to bring positive changes to our residential children and youth.<\/p>\n

Time: 10:00am – 11:30am\u00a0(registration starts at 9:45am)<\/strong>
Venue\uff1aEvangel Children\u2019s Home \u2013 Mini Hall<\/strong><\/p>\n

120 Shatin Pass Road, Wong Tai Sin<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Go to Exit A of Wong Tai Sin MTR Station, take the 18M green minibus, get off at the Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital station, cross the road to the opposite side) For map and directions: https:\/\/www.ech.org.hk\/en\/contact-us\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The briefing will be conducted in Cantonese.<\/p>\n

Types of Volunteers needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volunteers for Activities and Other Skill Sets*<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Large-scale event support group<\/li>\n
  2. Technical team* (Assist in art design\/ website & multi-media design \/ photography and recording\/ video production\/ information technology\/ promotion)<\/li>\n
  3. After-school activity group<\/li>\n
  4. Fund raising and charity sale<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    *Priorities in recruiting volunteers<\/em><\/p>\n

    For those who are interested in becoming volunteers but have not registered yet, please download and fill out the “Individual Volunteer Registration Form”<\/a>, and then email to info@ech.org.hk and write on the email, register for the briefing session also.<\/p>\n

    Individual Volunteers<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Points to Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Volunteer applications will be reviewed and to be matched in accordance with the organization’s recruitment procedures and service needs. After completing the registration form, you must attend the “Individual Volunteer Briefing Session\u201d according to service requirements”. Whether the applicant can be arranged for volunteer service opportunities will depend on the needs and service consideration of the organization. We thank for volunteers\u2019 initiatives but there may be cases that no further notice will be given if we are unable to arrange. \u00a0Applications for family\/group volunteers are not applicable. Evangel Children\u2019s Home reserves the right for final decisions when changes become necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n
