Casework

Case Conference are arranged regularly with children’s guardians, parents, referring social workers, school teachers and others in order to provide quality care. An individual growth plan is worked out to encourage their holistic growth and development in important areas such as emotions relationships and academics.

Finances

We are mainly funded by the following agencies.

1. Social Welfare Department.
2. The Community Chest of Hong Kong.
3. Churches in the U.S.A, Canada and Hong Kong.

In order to improve the quality of our services for the children, we do not hesitate to employ extra frontline staff using our own fund.

Method of application

1. Referrals should be made by the social worker responsible for the case through the respective Central Referral System for Residential Child Care Services of the Social Welfare Department.
2. Face to face interviews will be arranged for approval.

Fees

1. Residential fee is waived. Parents, relatives or guardians are responsible to pay for the child’s daily needs, medical, education expenses, etc.

Termination

1. Mutual consensus between our social workers, referral workers and relatives should be sought. All termination procedures must be agreed upon by children’s guardians.

B. Family Support Scheme– Day Care service

We support a harmonious society in Hong Kong. Therefore our focus is on deprived families such as the parents who are distressed from long working hours or low wages, or single parent families, or families in crisis putting their children at risk and without proper care. We provide day care services for these types of families. Details

C. Personal and Family Counseling Services

1. To provide counseling focused on personal and psychological growth to the children under our services.
2. To encourage their family members involved in the counseling services.
